Kate is a Chartered Accountant and has worked alongside Gary, Melinda and Richard for the past 10 or so years working closely with Gary for most of that time.

While Kate has the skills to assist any small business, she has predominantly worked with mining services and engineering clients and developed quite a speciality in this area through her exposure to the industry and the fact that her father, two of her brothers and Husband are diesel fitters.  Kate also grew upon a cane farm and has a great working knowledge of that industry as well.

Gary and Kate together make up a strong team and will continue to work together as they are moving forward. There would be very few of Gary’s clients who have not received the benefit of Kate’s knowledge, experience and efficiency.

Kate has a keen interest in helping out mining and engineering businesses and has developed great expertise in this field during her time at Inspire.

‍‍Melinda is a Charted Accountant with 20 years’ experience working with small to medium size businesses. She strives to deliver continuous improvement in her clients businesses, their work life balance and their financial freedom through by quarterly advisory meetings and annual strategic meetings.

Although income tax is the core of any accounting firm, Melinda understands that her client’s value more than this expertise.  Melinda believes in developing great working relationships that are built on trust in sharing her opinion and advice on strategic planning, major asset purchases, growth in their business and setting their business up for their succession.

Melinda also holds qualifications and expertise in financial planning, superannuation and advice on retirement planning, estate planning and risk insurance.

‍‍Richo has over 10 years’ experience bringing care and a high-level of knowledge across a number of areas in business and finance. Since joining in 2008 he has built a rapport with the clients he deals with through his care and sharp sense of humour. 

On top of the ordinary role of a Chartered Accountant managing clients and staff he is also sought out internally for the more challenging and complex legislation and situations as well as mentoring and training of our staff.  He has in-depth, practical expertise in a wide-range of business areas such as taxation, business advisory, mentoring and coaching, structuring, asset protection, succession planning, debt and finance structuring. 

His aim is to use that care and experience to deliver advice in a way that you can understand and implement as well as tailor that advice to help you get the most out of your affairs and achieve your goals.
